About Me
Kaitlin Rickerd is a professional voice-over artist (currently non-union) who is available to lend her voice to corporate trainings/presentations, brand commercials, narration projects, audio-books, business and educational multimedia, and more. Her versatile vocal profile means that she can adapt her voice to fit your needs; from calm and thoughtful to sarcastic and witty–she has the creativity and passion to hit just the right tone you need.
For the past 15 years, Kaitlin has been working as a nationally certified American Sign Language interpreter. That, combined with her Master of Art’s degree in Communication, has given her a unique understanding of language and the way in which we effectively use it. Working as an interpreter also means that she has experience taking the words given to her by others and making them sound natural- as if they are her own. Kaitlin’s background has also given her the opportunity to work in a wide variety of environments and learn about numerous vocations and topics. This has allowed her to become very familiar and comfortable using terminology found in the medical, educational, and corporate arenas; this means she is the perfect fit for any e-learning tutorials, corporate trainings, orientations, or presentations. Personally, she has a passion for reading and travel, which makes her an ideal match for audiobooks, narration, and travel or nature documentaries.
With a voice that can be serene and supportive enough for guided meditation, intelligent, steady, and confident to match a post-secondary lecture, and provide the sarcastic wittiness needed of a commercial or book character, Kaitlin has the versatility you need to make your project come to life!
